SATSANG PROGRAMME
Each day there will be a spiritual discourse beginning at 9:30 am, followed by a Question & Answer session. Those residing in the invited countries are welcome to attend. Everyone is requested to be seated by 9:00 am at the latest. Children 12 years of age and older are permitted to attend Satsang. Children under 12 years of age must go to the Family Area accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For A Printable Information Guide, click here. This is a foldable pamphlet so please print back to back.
QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION
After the discourse, there will be a Question & Answer session. Only those 18 years of age and older may ask questions. Please try to prepare your question in advance and restrict yourself to asking only one question so that others may also have an opportunity. Questions should be short, precise and related to spiritual matters only. The reading of long passages from books, reading letters or questions written by others takes away from the opportunity for personal communication and should be avoided. All those wishing to ask questions in English or Spanish should proceed to microphone No. 1, and those wishing to ask questions in Hindi or Punjabi should proceed to microphone No. 2.
SEATING
There will be only chair seating in the Satsang Hall. People who would like to be seated together should arrive together. Reserving or holding seats for others will not be permitted. For the safety and comfort of all, please cooperate with the sevadars.
SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION
There will be simultaneous translation into: Bulgarian, Czech, French, German, Greek and Spanish. The Hindi Satsang and Hindi Questions and Answers will also be translated into English. A designated area with headphones in the Satsang Hall has been arranged for this purpose. Please note that there are limited seats in this area. If you wish to avail of this facility, please contact your coordinator / secretary before the 31st of January 2012.
HEARING IMPAIRED
The simultaneous translation area has also been equipped with a facility for the Hearing Impaired. Those wishing to use this are requested to remove and switch off their hearing aids and put on the headphones (hearing aids not switched off will cause interference with the sound system). A designated channel has been assigned for this purpose. If you wish to avail of this facility, please contact your coordinator / secretary before the 31st of January 2012.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
Mobile phones, pagers, cameras, binoculars, laser pointers, MP3 players including ipods, audio & video recorders, or any other electronic items MUST NOT be brought into the premises. Large bags, food and drinks will NOT be permitted inside the Satsang Hall. Anyone with any of these items must leave them in their hotel rooms or vehicles, or deposit them at the Lost and Found Counter. Only a small handbag will be allowed inside the Satsang Hall. Photography and audio/video recording using any electronic device including mobile phones is not permitted anywhere on the property.
NOTE TAKING
It is Master's wish that we take full advantage of his presence and not spend time and attention taking notes. Therefore, you are kindly requested to refrain from taking notes during Satsang and Question & Answer session. The taking of notes and the passing of such notes to others by any means, including email, is strongly discouraged.
FAMILY AREA - THOSE ATTENDING THE PROGRAMME with CHILDREN
All children under the age of 12 must go to the Family Area accompanied by one parent or family guardian, who is at least 16 years old. The Family Area will open from 7:00 am until the end of the satsang programme. Parents or guardians may network among themselves to help care for each other’s children, but these arrangements should be made either in advance or made outside the Family Area before entering. Once a parent or guardian has entered the Family Area, he or she will not be allowed to leave the Family Area until after the satsang programme is over. Parents or guardians will be required to remain with their children the entire time. For more details please click on the Family Area tab on the left.
